August 2019 Minutes - D. Trew
The 19th of August was witness to the Friends of Rothrock State Forest monthly board meeting. A lot of board action was taken over the interim time since the previous meeting. The group voted to sponsor one large ad on the new Rothrock Purple Lizard map set to be released in the Fall of 2019.
The group also approved an interim budget item for the Trail Fest, then elected to set a larger budget for the event so that additional board action was not needed. We were happy to have received the deposit from the Visitor’s Bureau filling our coffers a bit.
Trail Fest looms ever closer and a call for volunteers was put out to help staff the event. The trail workday in Bear Meadows was set for the 5th of October.
